From August 22 to today we write a series of interesting quotes. Since they expressed completely true things because they tell us about things that are seen daily. These quotes helped me see that my way of seeing things is not so wrong. This is why I agreed with all of them because I felt identified with them. In the first quote, we talked about how there really is nothing better than women and it’s completely true if they literally didn’t exist. The other quote about violence is pretty accurate but one of the kind heart is true because people think they cant treat you the way they want.

“Women in Medieval Society”

The peasant women have responsibilities like domestic responsibilities, including caring for children, preparing food, and tending livestock. A common thing of the peasant women was the distaff. Eve is shown with a distaff because it illustrates her duty to perform manual labor after the fall from Paradise.  The women were different because the rural ones worked in the fields with their husbands but the ones in town help their fathers and husbands in a variety of trades and crafts, including the production of textiles, leather goods, and metal work. The belief behind the story was that women were inferior to men and that they were morally weaker and likely to tempt men into sin. The women hold power in the church because they could hold positions of great responsibility and they have political power, especially as queens and regents who exercised royal authority. Queen Isabella brought about the end of the reign of her husband, Edward II. Young aristocrats have arranged marriage by their families. Pregnancy and childbirth during the Middle Ages were risky situations and can’t be compared to these days. Something I learned from this article is that pregnancy was a complete disaster at that time. The most intriguing part for me was when queen Isabella brought his husband to the end. I would recommend this because I found it interesting.

Reading and writing task #1

The day finally came. They were so excited, that they couldn’t contain their emotions. They were very happy about going on that road trip. The plan has been going pretty well until a dark cloud starts forming on top of them. They looked very surprised because the weather was perfect and changed dramatically. They start to feel very bad until one of them falls to the ground, they try to help but he is dead. Then everybody starts running but when they notice they were trapped in a bubble there is when someone tells them the truth that when they get to that city there was no coming back. In the end, only 5 survive and those five were the ones that escaped cram that place.

The middle age video was very interesting. But the war about the empires grabbed my attention. One of the most sad things about the video was the death of the Christians. They died in the hands of the gladiator, they were the soldiers that had direct  orders from the king to kill them. Another interesting thing was all the dead bodies from the Black Death because that was one of the most viral epidemics. Of course the new Roma was a cool thing to know because we can see a completely different empire.

There was a kingdom called the black knights. One day they get called about a dragon they have to capture because no one in other kingdoms can do it. They prepared all their equipment and started going to the location. When they get there they notice something but they keep going. Then they saw the dragon fly to the nearby village and then disappear.
